Silver Plated Copper Wire
Product Description
One World can provide silver-plated copper wire produced by electroplating. By using the principle of electrodeposition, a silver layer is plated on the surface of oxygen-free copper wire or low-oxygen copper wire in a silver salt solution, and then the wire is stretched and heat-treated to make it into various specifications and properties. This wire combines the characteristics of copper and silver, and has the advantages of excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance and easy welding.
Silver-plated copper wire has the following advantages over pure silver/copper wire:
1)Silver has a higher conductivity than copper, and silver-plated copper wire provides lower resistance in the surface layer, improving conductivity.
2)The silver layer improves the wire’s resistance to oxidation and corrosion, making silver-plated copper wire perform better in harsh environments.
3)Due to the excellent conductivity of silver, signal loss and interference in high-frequency signal transmission of silver-plated copper wire are reduced.
4)Compared with pure silver wire, silver-plated copper wire has a lower cost and can save costs while providing excellent performance.
Application
Silver-plated copper wire is mainly used in aerospace cables, high temperature resistant cables, radio frequency cables and other fields.

Packaging
The silver-plated copper wires are wound on the bobbins, wrapped with rust-proof kraft paper, and finally the entire bobbins are encapsulated with PE wrapping film.

3) The product should be packaged intact to prevent moisture and contamination.
